Robin Yeganeh, Ph.D. ​is the founder of the Cognitive Behavior Therapy & Mindfulness Center, a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY 21202), and Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley. He has over 20 years of experience in science-based interventions that increase well-being, effectiveness, and resilience. He obtained a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Maryland and has trained in psychological treatment development at the National Institute of Mental Health, the Maryland Center for Anxiety Disorders at the University of Maryland at College Park, the University of California San Diego, and the San Diego Veterans Affairs Healthcare System.

Dr. Yeganeh's clinical specialty is in scientifically guided treatments for stress and anxiety disorders. His innovative approach to treatment emphasizes empathic understanding and action-oriented skills training, using cognitive, behavioral, and mindfulness-based strategies to help strengthen clients' adaptive responses to difficult emotions and events. Research indicates that this approach is effective for adults with general anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, social anxiety, panic, post-traumatic stress, depression, work related stress, and school stress. Dr. Yeganeh's work has been published in leading scientific and business journals, such as Research in Organizational Change and Development, Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychiatric Clinics of North America, and Depression and Anxiety. Moreover, he has been invited to review studies for publication in journals such as the Journal of Anxiety Disorders and Cognitive and Behavioral Practice. In addition, as an expert in the treatment of OCD, Dr. Yeganeh was featured on Discovery Channel's "Hoarding: Buried Alive". He continues to take part in expert panels related to cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, anxiety disorders, and behavioral change.

With a passion for promoting empirically supported interventions, Dr. Yeganeh founded the Cognitive Behavior Therapy & Mindfulness Center for clients in California who are interested in solution-focused and measurable therapeutic and consulting interventions. Over the past two decades, he has trained and mentored professionals in university doctoral programs, private clinics, and tech, finance, and legal sectors. Dr. Yeganeh is a founding member of the Northern California Cognitive Behavior Therapy Network, and a former member of the International Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Foundation, the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, and the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, where he was selected as a featured psychologist.
